Welcome to the Prestwood Forums
There are a number of Prestwood user groups around the UK but time and distance and differences in usage of the software make meetings difficult. There are also many different views of what should be discussed at such meetings.
The launch of Sesame Forums earlier in 2009 has proved to be very beneficial for members of the Sesame Network and I felt that similar benefits could be possible for users of Prestwood Software to compare notes.
From those observations this website was born. I am a certified financial planner and have used what is now the professional version of Prestwood Software since I bought my practice a decade ago.
I have built this site to offer a free and open forum for advisers and their staff using Prestwood Software in the UK to discuss anything they like with other users.
Some forums allow Prestwood staff to participate and others are closed to Prestwood staff but this is clearly indicated for each forum. The forums are not intended to be a substitute for Prestwood support services - if you have a problem with the software or how to use it you should still contact Prestwood first in the normal way.
The forums have been built so that only registered members (register on the left below the sign in box) can see them. This is to ensure members can talk freely, in some cases without being monitored by Prestwood, and to avoid having comments taken out of context by non-users.
This site can only work if you guys use it.
If you have any suggestions, problems or queries contact me via the members list - my username is Gideon Admin.
Your identity is protected from other members by the use of "user names" you have to declare your real details on sign in so that I can check you are who you say you are, but everything other than the type of user you are and your town are hidden from the membership. (The members list is only visible once you have registered)
By registering you accept responsibility for your own posts: I cannot accept responsibility for anything any member says.
Prestwood Forums are not in any way organised or endorsed by Prestwood Software although Prestwood staff members may participate in some of the forums. Please join and enjoy.
